ARRAY has introduced its DuraTrack D2S dual-row tracker, highlighting a patented passive wind-stow approach with a 60-degree stow angle. The announcement focuses on wind resilience for utility-scale PV arrays.
ARRAY states that the design is intended for temperatures from -20 C to 60 C, with an option to -40 C. The company also says the layout can fit up to 6.3% more installed capacity on the same land area than designs with bearing-housing gaps.
For developers and EPC buyers, wind behavior, usable land area and operating temperature are specification inputs rather than stand-alone claims. Tender evaluations should confirm site wind criteria, structural assumptions, controls, warranties and the basis for comparative capacity figures.
