Greece published a provisional list of 209 businesses selected for support under its Go Beyond Solar Battery program. The approved projects total 28.2 MW/49.3 MWh of battery storage, with storage durations of up to two hours, paired with 30.8 MW of existing or planned solar PV.
The awards total about €8.15 million from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility. Small businesses may receive 50% of eligible battery costs, medium businesses 40% and large businesses 30%; the support also covers energy-management systems and local grid connection costs. Projects must be completed by October 31, making delivery, commissioning and compliance documentation immediate procurement priorities; COTECH has no stated relationship with the program.
