The EBRD disclosed the Skuodas RES Cluster in Lithuania, comprising 122 MW of solar PV, 156 MW of wind and a 100 MW/200 MWh BESS, plus a new substation and export cable. The project page lists the operation as exploratory and pending concept review, with disclosure dated August 21, 2026.
For developers and suppliers, the disclosure is an early-stage project signal rather than financial close or a purchase order. Check environmental documentation, procurement notices, grid studies, interconnection equipment, storage guarantees and the approval path before allocating capacity.
The hybrid design also makes shared substation, export-cable and dispatch assumptions material to equipment sizing and contract interfaces.
