Recurrent Energy Secures $695 Million for a 330 MW California Solar Project

Recurrent Energy has secured $695 million in financing for a reported 330 MW California solar project, according to PV Tech. Financing supports execution, but it does not establish commercial operation.

For B2B suppliers, the key question is when financed scope becomes awarded packages. Confirm module, mounting, inverter, EPC and delivery requirements, then align credit terms and logistics with the project's notice-to-proceed schedule.

Procurement teams should keep interconnection, permitting, origin records and change-in-law clauses visible as the project moves from finance to construction. Capacity and financing alone are not a purchase order.
