Sungrow says Verano Energy selected its PowerTitan 2.0 solution for the Observatorio project in Chile. The announced package combines a 152 MW / 606 MWh battery system, four-hour duration and a 25-year service agreement with a 135 MW solar plant.
For B2B buyers, storage should be qualified as part of the operating plant. Usable energy, PCS limits, EMS responsibilities, dispatch controls, augmentation, warranty and grid interfaces should be aligned before equipment is awarded.
The project is a procurement signal, not proof that every component is available to every buyer. Request a single interface matrix covering inverters, battery containers, plant controller, protection studies, commissioning and long-term service.
