Suntech reported grid connection for a rooftop solar project in Shah Alam, Selangor, developed with Malaysian distributor NexGen AI Capitals. The installation uses an existing commercial complex rather than new land.
Commercial projects require more than module selection. Roof condition, structural loads, waterproofing, access routes, crane windows, fire pathways, shutdown planning and utility approvals all affect schedule and risk.
A strong RFQ should require a roof survey, layout assumptions, mounting and ballast details, construction method statement and a clear grid-connection responsibility matrix.
