Tata Power Renewable Energy reports commissioning a 100 MW captive solar project at Kayathar, Tamil Nadu. The site uses 261,660 Mono PERC bifacial modules and flexible-terrain single-axis trackers.
For module and EPC buyers, the operating project is evidence that tracker, module, cable and grid interfaces reached commissioning. It does not prove suitability for a different wind, soil or slope.
Request geotechnical inputs, structural load cases, module compatibility, as-built drawings and measured availability before transferring the design. COTECH did not participate in this external project.
