Torbay Council says three-quarters of almost 15,000 highway lights had been upgraded by August, with twelve base stations supporting a central-management system.
For lighting buyers, controls are part of the asset. Dimming schedules, node identities, communications, alarms, firmware and offline behaviour should be handed over with the luminaires.
Confirm photometric acceptance, approved settings, access ownership and maintenance response before system go-live. COTECH did not supply this external project.
