Waaree Energies approved a US$37 million expansion of its Arizona module facility, according to a report published on September 2. The upgrade will replace existing production lines with higher-efficiency equipment and raise annual nameplate capacity from 1 GW to 1.6 GW; Waaree’s US module capacity would reach 4.8 GW across Arizona and Texas.\n\nFor US utility buyers and EPCs, added domestic capacity may broaden sourcing options, but capacity is not the same as available, certified supply. Procurement should verify the exact product portfolio, delivery windows, warranty entity, traceability and project-specific domestic-content treatment before awarding volume. COTECH did not supply this external facility.
