CSHJ132 700–730W HJT bifacial solar modules

Large-format 132-half-cell HJT modules for arrays designed around high-current panels. Review seven power bins, 37 kg handling and model-specific procurement checks.

Select for the actual project

Where this format fits

Evaluate CSHJ132 for large commercial or ground-mounted arrays whose racking, handling plan and inverter inputs can accommodate this format. A module measures 2.384 × 1.303 m and weighs 37 kg. This is not a drop-in substitution for the narrower CSHJ72 group: compare tracker clearances, table dimensions, lifting arrangements and the electrical design before choosing the 700–730 W range.

Size, handling & installation constraints

The main selection constraint is not only voltage. At the 730 W bin, operating current is 17.30 A and short-circuit current is 18.00 A before any rear-side contribution. Compare both inverter input-current and short-circuit limits, including the number of parallel strings and required design allowances. Obtain approval for the 33 mm frame, clamp positions and tracker geometry. The datasheet test loads do not independently establish the project’s structural design rating.

Electrical characteristics at STC

Front-side nameplate values, without assumed rear-side gain. STC: 1000 W/m², 25°C cell temperature, AM1.5. The source lists a 0 to +3% power tolerance.

Electrical selection example

The listed Pmax temperature coefficient is −0.24%/°C. At a cell temperature of 65°C, 40°C above STC, a temperature-only example for the 730 W bin is 730 × [1 − 0.0024 × 40] = 659.92 W. This does not predict annual output: irradiance, shading, soiling and balance-of-system losses are outside the example. Likewise, 85 ± 5% bifaciality must not be substituted for a project rear-gain assumption.

Documents to request with a quote

Send the selected bin, project country, array size, tracker or fixed-rack model and inverter input specifications. Request the current dimensional drawing, handling plan, approved clamp zones, connector specification, flash-test report and traceable certificate scope. The supplied packing table lists 31 modules per pallet and 620 per 40′HC. Confirm loading, local handling capacity and the signed warranty before scheduling delivery; these counts are not a stock or lead-time promise.

Certification scope

The datasheet lists IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 61701, IEC 62716 and UL 61730, alongside CE and TÜV marks. Those labels do not by themselves verify a certificate or market approval. Request certificate numbers, issuing bodies, applicable model and factory scope, current status, and destination-market requirements.

Warranty: confirm the contractual version

The source PDF is inconsistent: the front-page text says at least 90% power at year 30, while its chart and technical-page warranty say at least 87.4%. Both pages state 15-year product and 30-year power terms. Obtain the corrected, signed model-specific warranty before comparing lifetime guarantees; this page does not choose the more favourable claim.
